Smashbox Be Legendary - 120 Shades of Lipstick!
What’s that? Smashbox had a great selection of lipstick formulas and colours? Don’t be daft!
Clearly they needed to up their game and launch more! Smashbox have just launched an incredible 120 shades of their Be Legendary lipstick. Count ’em! 120!
That’s 74 moisturising creams, and 46 smooth mattes to choose from, in, well, all the lip colours you would ever need, I suspect. I’m not about to list them here, but they are all in colour families – from nudes to neutrals, pretty pinks to reds, corals, and bold berry browns. The original Be Legendary shades are still in there, so don’t panic, your favourites haven’t gone anywhere – just been joined by loads more!

So, what’s the reason behind this massive lipstick launch? Well, Smashbox is a studio brand, and as the makeup artists in the brand’s LA Studio were constantly blending colours the product developers were inspired to go big, and cover every shade they possibly could.
All the colours are tested in the studios to check that the colour stays true in photos, and stays in place. Of course, the lipsticks are full of goodness, with shea butter and vitamins C and E.
Oh yeah, and if 120 shades aren’t enough, remember, Smashbox have this fab Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer that will turn those 74 cream shades intro mattes! And I have used it, and it does work!
