Lancome's new Energie De Vie skincare

Lancome have just launched a new skincare range, packed full of natural anti-oxidants, to bring energy and radiance to your skincare routine. Energie De Vie has a ‘liquid moisturiser’ at the heart of it, an innovative new formula.

The Smoothing and Glow-boosting Liquid Care (from £28) is full of moisturising, antioxidant and energising active ingredients. You use it as you would a cream moisturiser; just apply before your makeup. It does take a little bit of getting used to at first, but a little goes a long way, and you can use it morning and night.

The green packaging is becaue Lancome see this as a ‘green juice for your skin’ – thanks to the ingredients. Goji Berries have been loved for their energising properties for thousands of years. They’re rich in polythenols, sugars, mineals and lipids, and are a true superfood. Lemon Balm has been chosen for its medicinal benefits and protective action against the inflammation and oxidative stress – so it protects your skin from that ‘urban fatigue’ that city loving can cause.

Then there’s Gentian root extract which has been used since ancient times for its digestive and stiumlating benefits was chosen to deliver that ‘fuel effect’ that the cells need for an energy boost.

All of this in an oil-free liquid that is as hydrating as a cream, and as concentrated as a serum, but isn’t either!

The range also has two other products – Overnight Recovery Sleeping Mask (£42), and Smoothing and Plumping Pearly Lotion (£28). You can use the former as a mask, or as a night cream (just use less), and the pearly lotion has actual pearly bits in it to help wake up your skin – use this one under your moisturiser.
