Benefit's New Brow Collection

4 min read

Wowzer! Or should I say BROWzer! Okay, I promise, no more bad puns. BUT – lots of brows. And I mean LOTS. Benefit launch their new brow collection at the end of June, and it’s, well, comprehensive, to say the least.

There are ten – count’em, TEN – products, and a few tools as well, as if a dozen items wasn’t enough! I don’t know where to start. I had my brows done the other week by the lovely Claire from Benefit, using quite a few of the new products, and, as you can see in the image below, they look pretty good, right?

Merle's brow makeover!

As well as tinting and waxing my brows, Claire used the new products. I can’t recall which, but let’s just go through them all, shall we?!

All packaged in cosmic silver packaging, the new collection has more products than you probably ever need for just two eyebrows, and buying them all might dent your bank balance a wee bit, so perhaps some advice on counter, after a brow consultation is the best way to go about this.

Working from left to right in this photo below, we’re starting with ka-BROW! (£18.50), a cream-gel which fills, sculpts and defines brows. And the brush is hidden in the lid – how fab is that? This is easy to use, and one of my favourites. Next up, High Brow Pencil and High Brow Glow Pencil (both £17.50). These highlighting pencils give your brow an instant lift. Apply under the arch and blend. High Brow is creamy, and High Brow Glow is luminous.

Next up, ready, set, BROW! (£18.50).This invisible shaping and setting gel holds brow hairs in place and locks on makeup so your brows don’t disappear! The wand, with short bristles on one side, and a precision tip, and long bristles on the other side work the gel into the brow. Brush it on to bare brows, or on top of products to set them. Next in line is my absolute favourite, the precisely, my brow pencil (£18.50). This ultra-fine brow pencil fills in the blanks in your brows with lots of little natural-looking, hair-like strokes. It’s so easy to use, and comes in six shades, as do most of the products. I am shade 3 in all of them.

Next, it’s 3D browtones (£18.50) which instantly enhances your natueral brow colour with subtle highlights and soft contrast. So, it enhances loghter brows and softens the loook of darker brows. You brush it on, building the colour as desired. I did think this one was maybe a step too far, but it really does make those brows pop!

The goof proof brow pencil (£18.50) is a super-fast way to fill in those brows. The tip, wide for filling, and pointed end for defining is simple to use, and works. The BROWVO! conditioning primer (£21.50) works in two ways – it conditions to make brows instantly look fuller, thicker and healthier, and it primes. So wear it under brow makeup to enhance the colour and extend wear. I’m not so sure of this one. But, if you like primers for the face, then you might like this. It has a fab applicator, you just click, the conditioner comes through and all the soft bristles apply it to the brow.

Ah, you know this one right? brow zings (£24.50). Just like the old Brow Zings, but with new packaging, and the addition of an extendable applicator, which is just a JOY! No more wee fiddly brushes. Brow Zings is an old fave of mine. A perfectly-paired wax and powder, it just works, and is all you need to keep those brows in check.

Finally (phew!) gimme brow (£18.50). This brush-on gel contains tiny little microfibres which adhere to skin and hairs to create natural-looking fullness. I like this product; it’s innovative, and it works. It comes in three shades, as natural or not as you like.

The new Benefit collection really covers everything you will ever need for your eyebrows ever again. They’re like the one-stop go-to brow bar for all your brow needs now.

Here are a few model images, so you can see just how much the new products will transform your brows!
