Go Pop with Clinique!
Clinique have launched two more ‘Pop’ products this month – the Pop Lacquer Lip Colour + Primer, and the Clinique Lid Pop. The Lid Pop is almost too beautiful to use, and will end up in the drawer in my house, alngside the Cheek Pop I have never used!
The Lid Pop is a beautiful floral moulded eye colour, that comes in eight pretty shades. This one is a pale, shimmery, nude/pink called Petal Pop. The formula is silky and long-wearing, and is developed using patented ‘slurry technique’. So, the shadow begins as a smooth liquid which transforms through a slow baking process into a power which is light and silky.
Launching at the same time, is the new Pop Lacquer Lip Colour + Primer. it’s all about lacquers in the lip world just now (when it isn’t about mattes!), and this is another in a similar vein. It gives a ‘pop’ of liquid-shine colour in one, full coverage coat, say Clinique. I’ve tried Go-Go Pop – a gorgeous deep fuchsia pink shade, and even for a matte fan like me, it’s good! It is easy to apply, the coverage and pigment is good, and it does feel lovely on your lips.
There are 10 shades to choose from, from creamy nudes, to bold red, with pinks and plums.
There is another new Clinique ‘pop’ product coming – a lipstick with primer, but it will be out later in the month.
