Clinique’s Kiss It Better 2016 campaign is underway, and the products produced this year for the charitable cause are just lovely. Clinique partners for the twelfth year running with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity for the KISS IT BETTER appeal – raising money to fund research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancer.
Clinique have launched a Limited Edition Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick in best selling shades, Magenta and Petal, to raise money for the appeal throughout February. This is a lovely lipstick, soft, matte and moist, and the packaging is just delightful. Perfect for Valentine’s Day!
Clinique will donate 100% of the RRP to the Kiss It Better appeal, and when you buy two or more lip products (one of which has to be the Limited Edition Kiss It Better Lipstick) you will receive a lovely makeup bag, with the matching, fab, design.
And, in addition, this year £2 from EVERY lip product sold throughout February will be donated to the appeal.
Kiss It Better is the brainchild of Carmel Allen whose daughter Josephine was treated at the hospital for neuroblastoma – a type of cancer. After many months spent at the hospital, and struggling to reconcile life as a Beauty Editor, Carmel decided that she wanted to help and devised the Kiss It Better appeal.
“Kiss it Better is something every parent says and does when their child is sick or injured. I wanted to turn Josephine’s experience into something positive and to help make a difference to the lives of children with cancer everywhere. Jojo is an inspiration to me, she feels as passionately about helping other children as I do. The survival rates have improved even during the 12 years of Kiss it Better and I know they can improve even more” says Carmel.
So, get yourself a lovely Limited Edition lipstick this February and help a worthy cause at the same time.
