New brands at M&S beauty for 2016

Marks & Spencer Beauty has been a big hit, and this year seems more brands launch into M&S beauty halls across the country, and even more online.

Josh Wood, Coriolis, Pulsaderm, Micro Pedi/Nail, Amerliorate, Magnitone, Eyeko, LGFB Make up brushes, Fillerina, and Alpha H are all new to M&S.

So, who are these brands – let’s find out.
AMELIORATE – available in store and online now,  with prices from £12.50, this brand was formulated to target the visible signs of Keratosis Pilaris – that’s when you get the appearance of goosebump-like bumps on your skin.

It’s a range of bodycare products, using high quality moisturising ingredients, along with natural Lactic Acid to turn that dry, rough, bumpy skin into smooth, hydrated skin.
FILLERINA – launching exclusively online, January 2016, this is a revolutionary, no-needle dermo-cosmetic filler for at-home use. It contains the first ever blend of six hyaluronic acids with different weights and structures to facilitate the plumping of tissues without puncturing the skin.

Featuring a patent for the precision applicator and formula containing six different molecular structures of varying weights and size of hyaluronic acid, Fillerina is the only cosmetic product that allows large quantities of hyaluronic acid to penetrate deep into the cutaneous tissues, without injections. The 14-day intensive treatment and everyday maintenance products are available in three different graded strengths.

MICRO NAIL & MICRO PEDI – available online and in stores, £40 & £30 – the former is a battery powdered nail buffer. Nail tools used to be something we were warned off, but this amazing thing has rollers that rotate 360 degrees, 18000 times per minute, smoothing, polishing and shining natural nails in a flash! The Micro Pedi buffs away dry, hard and rough skin from your feet. I’m not so sure these gadgets will replace the salon trips, but perhaps in between visits they’ll work as a boost.

M&S Beauty New Brands
EYEKO  – launching both online and in store, from January 2016, prices from £12, this brilliant brand has been around since 1999 and was one of the first brands I remember covering as a beauty writer.

Devised by makeup veterans and partners, Max and Nina Leykind, Eyeko re-invented mascara with its iconic zero-waste squeeze tubes. They have created an eye wardrobe of formulas and brushes for instant results, easy application and long term lash care.

Favoured by celebrities and acclaimed make-up artists alike Eyeko believes in a tight edit of multi-tasking products that deliver what they promise for your eyes only. Style icon Alexa Chung joined Eyeko as Creative Consultant in 2013 bringing a wealth of knowledge to the brand. Or her name, at least…!
