Melvita’s new Nectar de Roses collection Rose Petal Shower Gel has kept me sane this January! Showering every morning has been made that little bit easier with this lovely product.
Melvita captured the freshness of rose petals from three wild roses in their lovely Roses Sauvages Eau de Toilette. Apparently, you should pick rose petals at dawn for them to be at their very best.
These three were picked in Drome (Rose Canina), Vercors (Rose Gallica), and in Chile (Rose Mosqueta).
Picking them at dawn captures the freshness of their petals, the powdery scent of their hearts and the woody base of their leaves.
I, for one, am thrilled that rose pickers got up at dawn to pick these roses, so that I could have a shower gel that helped me awaken of a morning!
So, the new body collection contains wild rose extract, a new ground-breaking active ingredient that’s proven to activate skin hydration. The body collection works to achieve hydrated skin in three steps:
- Feeds Moisture, thanks to ultra-hydrating Rose Floral Water.
- Traps Moisture, thanks to five active ingredients derived from roses – hundred leaved rose, rose hip oil, rose seed milk, rose essential oil, and rose enfleurage – are uniquely blended together to help prevent water loss.
- Distributes Moisture, thanks to Wild Rose Petal Extract which stimulates the vital channels that allow for the diffusion of moisture.
The collection includes the lovely Shower Gel (£13), as well as Nectar de Roses Hydrating Body Veil (£15) and a little pot of wonder, the Nectar de 3 Roses (£10).
Use this multi-purpose balm on lips, dry skin, cuticles or even the ends of your hair.
