Clinique's Pretty Easy Palettes

Clinique launches three new palettes last month, which are perfect festive gifts for the Clinique fans you know. The Pretty Easy Brow Palette, Pretty Easy Eye Palette, and Pretty Easy Lip Palette all contain all the Clinique products you need for the beauty task in hand.

The Pretty Easy Eye Palette (£35) includes eight eyeshadows, and two of Clinique’s Skinny Stick eyeliners to create endless eye looks. The Skinny Sticks are in Slimming Black and Slim Sable, and the shadow colours are all lovely neutrals and nudes that work from day to night. The colours are French Vanilla, light shade from Like Mink Duo, dark shade from Like Mink Duo, Jute Brown from Everywhere Neutrals octet, light shade from Nightcap Duo, Peppercorn from Wear Everywhere Blues octet, light shade from Teddy Bear Quad, and light shade from Starlight Starbright Duo.

So, you can see the palettes have cherry picked the best of Clinique complementary shades and handily gathered them all together for you.

The Pretty Easy Lip Palette (£35) contains eight lip colours, and four empty wells, where you are encouraged to mix your own using the spatula and lip brush. The colours to choose from are Pink Chocolate, Vintage Wine, Matte Magenta, Matte Plum, Baby Baby, Pink Goddess, Pink-a-boo and Raspberry Rush.

Finally, the Pretty Easy Brow Palette (£25). I’m not a big fan of brow palettes, and this one isn’t all that different from others on the market. It contains brow powder, powder highlighter and fixative brow gel.

So, you apply the powder to fill your brows in, use the brush to sweep the highligher onto the brow bone, adding dimension and brightening the eye area, and then smooth the brows with the fixative brow gel to set the look.

All the tools are there, and you can groom brows with the spool applicator if you like.
