bareMinerals bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer
It’s wee bit of a sneak peek into the future with this one, but bareMinerals will launch a concealer to complement their bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation next year.
bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer will launch in February, continuing the trend for hybrid skincare/makeup which has been growing momentum in the industry for a while now. Would you use a product these days that only did one thing? It seems an odd thing to even consider.
So, this new concealer conceals and nourishes at the same time, thanks to key ingredients. On the concealing side, it contains high-definition mineral optics to counteract shadows, diffuse the appearance of imperfections, and give skin a brightened, lustrous appearance.
On the skincare side, it contains Antioxidant Lilac Plant Stem Cells to help defend against signs of ageing and Hydrating Humectants to help nourish and retain moisture in the delicate under-eye area.
It gives long-wearing coverage, and a silky smooth application, and you can wear it under or over foundation. I’ve tried both and I prefer to use my concealer over foundation, and this works well this way. There is a lot of coverage – the clue is in the name after all; it’s a pretty intense, so you really only need a drop. You can use your ring finger to pat it on, or a brush.
It’s available in six colours – Fair, Light, Medium, Medium Golden, Tan and Dark to Deep.
Obviously, with claims of dealing with dark circles, discolouration, this is targeted to the eye area,but it works on the face, as it isn’t such a highlighting concealer as some are.
