New Brushes from Bare Minerals

Bare Minerals have launched a few new brushes to their range, which sees them as the No1 makeup brush brand in the UK.

Being a powder-based brand, that’s not surprising, as most of their products need applied with a brush, and one of the new brushes launched is the Beautiful Finish brush (£26) for use with the Original and Matte formulas of the classic Bare Minerals powder foundations.

My absolute favourite makeup brush is a Bare Minerals brush – the Perfecting Face brush (£24, not pictured), which has a well in the centre where you put your Complexion Perfecting foundation (or any foundation you like), and apply. I really do love it.

Other new brushes in the Bare Minerals collection are the Complexion Perfector (£24), a synthetic fibres brush for medium-to-full blending of foundations and concealers, the Blooming Blush brush (£20), a natural fibres blusher brush with an angled head, the Seamless Shaping & Finishing brush (£28), a natural fibres brush for sheer application of bronzers, illuminators and the like, and the Supreme Finisher (£24), a synthetic fibres brush for applying those products.

Makeup brushes are great – but keep them clean! We can all be guilty of dirty brushes, but there’s no need. Use Bare Minerals Brush Shampoo (£10) for a good clean of your brushes, and then, in-between shampoos, you can use their Quick Change brush cleaner (£10), which is a spray that’s great for a quick clean between colours with an eyeshadow brush, for example.

Bare Minerals Brush Cleaners

You just spritz a tissue until wet, brush the brush over it until the colour is gone, and then instantly re-use. It’s great.
