MAC Wash & Dry Summer
MAC’s Wash & Dry Summer collection has been on counter since May, and is a Limited collection – so if you haven’t snapped up bits of it yet, they’re probably sold out already.
However, I still wanted to cover it, because it’s so lovely – bright, bold and fun. The campaign images have a retro feel, with a bright colour-pop twist.
The packaging is ombre-style bright summer shades, and the emphasis in the collection is on eyes and lips – never mind one or the other, go for a full-on look with bold eyes, bright lips, lots of liner and great brows.
The Lipsticks (£17) in this collection include old favourite, Morange, a bright classic orange, in the new packaging, as well as a gorgeous red, Steam Heat, and some pretty pink/beige nudes. There are similar LipGlass (£16) shades to choose from, and nails are gorgeous teal, Washeteria, and deep blue, Monday Blues.
The Limited Edition Technakohl liner (£16) comes in amazing shades – Practice Makes Perfect is a deep blue green, and Colour Matters is an insane lime shade.
Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Trios (£25.50) are subtle with a 
few twists, to create beautiful eyes.
The Limited Edition Freshen Up High-Light Powder (£25.50) is a fantastic product for summer.
MAC have made the brow a focus of this summer collection with a whole load of great products to create a modern brow.
The Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set (£13.50) comes in SIX shades – so you can colour and set those brows, whatever your shade.
There is also a clear Brow Set (£13.50), and a Fluidline Brow GelCreme (£15.50) if you prefer to add colour and texture to the brows that way. It comes in a pot, and can be applied with a liner brush for precision definition to the brows.
If you prefer a more classic pencil-style brow product, there is always Eye Brows (£13.50) a perfect push-up brow pencil in four shades.
MAC’s summer bronzer this year is the Studio Sculpt Defining Bronzing Powder (£25.50) . which has more of a matte texture, more of a perfector, not just a bronzer, and brilliant for adding contour and sculpting a look. It come in two shades – Golden Rinse, and Delicates.
If you are lucky you will still be able to pick up some of this collection whilst it’s on the counters.
