The Body Shop All Eyes On You

If you find yourself in an eyeliner rut, then The Body Shop is here to help! They’ve just launched a whole new range of all sorts of eyeliners for whatever style you like. Whether you prefer a pop of colour or opt for a feline flick, The Body Shop has it covered with their new range.

The range consists of four  different eyeliners, with different textures – matte, creamy and glossy. Let’s start with the new black and white Matte Kajal liners (£9). If you want to make an impact with your eye makeup these are for you. They are highly pigmented-the white really does give bold results- and they are very blendable.

The formula is enriched with Black Rose water and Community Fair Trade marula oil meaning it glides on easily for a bold look. They are easy to use. Much like with a pencil, you can make thick lines, shade or use the edge for thinner lines.

There are two felt liners in the new range. The Skinny Thin Felt Liner (£9) is perfect for creating the feline flick; that retro look we all love. This liner is actually brilliant. It goes on well, the skinnyness of the pen makes it easy to use, and the lines come out beautifully (with a steady hand!). And, it dries quickly, doesn’t flake, and lasts.

The Bold Oversized Felt Liner (£9) is perfect when you want to create that more dramatic look. Amy Winehouse flicks anyone? At first this is quite daunting. It is very chunky, and is hard to get the hang of. Not one for the novices. Again, it dries quickly, and doesn’t move or flake.

Finally, there are two shades of the Velvet Gel Liner (£8). These lovely twist-up liners add a sort of metallic hue to your eyes, with their creamy gel texture. It is super-soft and goes on so easily. Available in brown and black, I like using these along the bottom lashes.

All of the new Body Shop eyeliners are available now from The Body Shop stores and thebodyshop.co.uk

So, what’s your eyeliner style?
