New serums from Zelens

Zelens is the brand from renowned authority in skin ageing and skin cancer, Dr Marko Lens. His products are, quite simply, excellent, and he launches two brilliant new serums this summer.

Zelens are one of those brands that I feel duty-bound to share with as many people as I can. They are, what the industry calls, cosmeceuticals, which doesn’t really mean anything other than they are a sort of advanced skincare, developed by those in the cosmetic surgery industry.

What I believe the products are, are brilliant. They eye cream is fantastic, the new foundation is one of my favourite of the last few years, and these two new serums are packed full of active ingredients to do the very best for your skin, and your skin concerns. These serums target specific skin concerns, so you can add them to your regular routine.

New Serums from Zelens skincare

First up, the Intense Defence Antioxidant Serum, which will help repair the skin, and protect it from potential environmental aggressors. Things like UV from sunlight, smoking, alcohol, stress and air pollutants. All of these things can help age the skin! Chemical reactions lead to the damage of lipids and proteins, and the DNA of cells, and all of this contributes to ageing.

This serum protects the skin, and improves the texture by stimulating the production of all-important collagen. There are 18 active ingredients in this serum; things like Squalane, from olives, a strong anti-oxidant, green tea, and echinacea, vitamins E and C and Hyaluronic Acid.

The other serum launching soon is the Z Luminous Brightening Serum. Luminosity and radiance are some of our biggest skincare concerns as we age. We all strive to achieve that youthful glow! This serum deals with reducing the appearance of dark spots and discolouration, evens the skintone, brightens and enhances luminosity, and also refines the skin texture, giving us that youthful look (hopefully!).

It contains things like Resorcinol for those dark spots (this reduces the melanin content of the skin), Pearl powder for brightening and moisturisation, and of course Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane (again from olives) and a whole heap of other ingredients.

Both these serums are an investment in your skin, and investment in the care of particular issues you have, and I believe you will get the results you crave.
