Clinique have a trio of face masks landing on their counters at the end of next week; two are new, one is repackaged and revamped.

Clinique Face Masks

Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Instant FacialLet’s start with the revamped, and repackaged Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Instant Facial (£35).

(There will be more on the Turnaround range later this week.)

So, to the mask. It’s a five minute pampering mask which combines physical and manual exfoliation to help reveal renewed, energised, and more radiant skin.

You apply it to a cleansed skin, leave it for five minutes and rinse off, gently massaging the granules over the skin to complete the exfoliating process.

You can use this mask two to three times a week.

Key ingredients include Chestnut Extract to activate natural enzymes that loosen the dead surface skin cells, Salicylic Acid, a classic exfoliator, and Caffeine, as an anti-irritant.

Clinique Pore Refining Charcoal Mask

Mask two from Clinique is the NEW Pore Refining Solutions Charcoal Mask (£22).

If your skin needs a clean, this is for you. It’s Clinique’s first charcoal mask, and combines a blend of clays and charcoal powder to mattify and detoxify the skin of dirt and impurities.

So, it, of course, includes Kaolin clay, a classic face mask ingredient which helps absorb dirt and oil.

The charcoal powder is derived from bamboo that acts like a magnet to draw out oils and pollutants.

Algae extract helps to keep oil from building up in pores, and controls excess oil in virtually poreless skin, and caffeine, sucrose and hyaluronic acid leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.

Apply liberally to the whole face, or the oily T-zone, leave on for five to 10 minutes, then rinse off. You can use it a few times a week.

Clinique Even Better Brightening MaskFinally, to complete the trio of masks, the NEW Even Better Brightening Moisture Mask (£34).

It revitalises and hydrates your skin., restoring luminosity.

Key ingredients are Glucosamine to help reveal that moother, more luminous skin, Citrus Unshiu Peek Extract to hep minimise irritation that can lead to darkening, and Licorice Extract to help brighten and counteract dullness.

Again you can use this mask a few times a week. Spread it evenly with fingertips to cheeks, forehead, neck and chin – avoiding eye area.

Leave on for five to 10 minutes, and then tissue off, and pat residual mask into the skin, or rinse it off.

All three masks are available from Clinique counters, and clinique.co.uk, from April 17.
