Angel A Men Ultra Zest

There’s nothing overly citrus about this new fragrance from the Thierry Mugler house. A Men Ultra Zest is unmistakeably Angel, so if you are  a fan, then you are bound to love it.

It’s new twist on the original fragrance, with a high presence of citrus notes – but they are still overpowered for me by the woody and spicy notes.

Having said that though, I do really like this Limited Edition A Men fragrance, which isn’t at all overly masculine, so female Angel lovers take note – you could easily wear this.

The top notes, or the Vigour notes, as Mugler are calling them are mandarin, blood orange and ginger, to tantalise the senses.

At the heart, or the Attitude of the scent, there’s cinnammon, coffee and black pepper, giving the fragrance its strength and unwitting character.

At the base, or in the Seduction section, it’s vanilla, patchouli and tonka bean, creating a sophisticated scent.

It’s a lovely, fresh, but classically Angel scent, not overpowering like some variations have been. Great for summer, perhaps a perfect Father’s Day gift?

I love the bright orange plastic flask as well, with, of course, the signature star of Thierry Mugler and Angel shining out from within.
