DKNY Delicious Sorbet Delights

They just keep coming up with new versions of their best-selling apples at DKNY, don’t they? The latest incarnation of their Delicious fragrance is the DKNY Delicious Delights, inspired by sweet sorbet treats. We’re talking sorbet, sweet sprinkles, you get their idea.

In the pink corner, it’s Fruity Rooty. It’s very, very, sweet, opening with blackberry and mandarin, as well as blackcurrant, with rose petals and violet at its floral heart, and then orris, vanilla and musk providing a bit of depth in the dry down. It’s a nice scent if you like floral and fruity.

In the green apple, it’s Cool Swirl, probably my favourite, and quite an interesting, and different fragrance, thanks to the top note of coconut water.

Other top notes are violet leaves and blackcurrant, but the coconut is pretty strong. The heart of this one is a lovely floral of magnolia and jasmine, with a hint of pistachio sorbet. The dry down is again, adding a lovely rich depth with heliotrope, musk and patchouli. 

Finally, in the orange/peachy corner, it’s Dreamsicle, and not one that I have much love for, it has to be said. It kind of reminded me, sadly, of an air freshener. It opens with mandarin, raspberry and blackcurrant, has a heart of green apple, peach nectar and apricot sorbet, and a dry down of cedarwood heart, sandalwood and vanilla. It’s just not for me, but if you like sweet, vanilla scents, you should give it a sniff!

The packaging is as cute as always – these apples are hugely popular for the DNKY brand, and it’s no surprise, as they are full of fun and not that expensive. Oh, and the little bunnies? They’re my prop, from the fabulous Tiger Stores- a shop I am currently addicted to, and cost just £1 each!
