Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for Body

Clarins launched their Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster for Face a year ago, and we blogged about it on here. It instantly became a huge hit, and Clarins themselves were taken aback by the instant response the product generated.

It finished the year as the number one self-tan product in the premium market, which is no mean feat, after just nine months on the market. Everyone loved it – and wanted more! So, Clarins listened, and a year later, here comes the Body version!

Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster

It’s pretty much the same product, just in a bigger bottle, and formulated for the body. It’s so easy to use, which is the absolute beauty of it.

YouClarins Body Golden Glow Booster Instructionsjust mix your regular body moisturiser in the palm of your hand with around 4-6 drops of the Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster for Body, and apply to your skin.

It allows the self tanner to develop evenly on the skin. As with all self-tanners, prepping the skin works wonders, so exfoliating first helps.

To use it, you need to work out the colour you want. So, after your first application, see how it develops, then add 4-6 drops per day to your moisturiser, depending on your desired colour.

You need 4-6 drops per area – like half-leg, stomach, arm, etc. You should then continue with three drops to intensify your tan, and once you are happy with your colour, apply just two drops to maintain it, and then stop when you want it to fade.

It gives a great colour. For someone who has an aversion to self-tanner, and a very pale skin, it’s a great product. It really doesn’t smell either, and it has aloe vera extract in it  to help with skin softness.

It’s such a clever product from Clarins. The brand completley reinvented the art of self-tanning when they launched the face version last year. You can imagine all the other fake tan brands wishing they had come up with it. It feels so unlike a fake tan, however, that maybe some tan-fans don’t love it so much? For me, however, it’s a winner.

So, what body moisturiser to use it with? You can choose a Clarins body moisturiser to mix it with – I love the Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion for dry skin (£30). Just never, ever, ever use the booster product on  its own!!
