Bobbi Brown is HOT, HOT, HOT!
I LOVE this latest collection from Bobbi Brown, inspired by Kate Upton’s home state, Florida. I first went to Florida when I was 16 years old, and was overwhlmed by the bright colours, the bright sunshine, and those flamingos!
Flamingos are everywhere this season – homeware, fashion, jewellery – if you embrace anything this year, embrace a flamingo. The Hot Collection from Bobbi Brown is full of bright, bold, flamingo pinks.
So, this lovely collection pairs subtle nudes with pops of head-turning colour. Think the warm nudes of the beachfront and the bright lights of Miami.
It’s a fun collection, and Bobbi carefully selected each shade and product in the collection to reflect Kate’s playful, beach-ready lifestyle. Pair a well-defined nude eye with a high-voltage lip for a look that channels hot summer days, sexy summer nights and Kate’s easy confidence.
My absolute favourite bit of this collection are the three new shades of Art Stick (£19.50) – Hot Berry, Hot Pink, and Hot Orange. If you haven’t tried the Art Sticks yet, why not?! Gorgeous, creamy and moisturising, these colours are just brilliantly bright. And they’re Limited Edition, so get them whilst they last!
There are three new Limited Edition Cheek Palettes (£34). This brilliant new palette features two shades of blush and a complementary, pearlescent, highlighter. To achieve Bobbi’s signature “just pinched” cheek look, dust the softer shade of blush onto cheeks, and then follow with a pop of brighter blush, applied just on the apples of cheeks. Finish with the highlighter shade on top. The shades are Calypso, Pink and Berry.
There are also three new, Limited Edition shades of Sheer Lip Color – Berry, Pink and Orange (£19.50). Bold, bright, but sheer – so perfect if all this colour scares you a little!
Use Bobbi’s Ink Liner in Blackest Black (£21) to deliver a slick of colour for stand-out eyes, to complete your look.
