New from Rimmel

Rimmel London have three new products launching at the end of the month – look out for them, they’re all goodies.

First up is their latest mascara –Scandaleyes XX-Treme Volume & Length Mascara (£6.99). Rimmel mascaras are great value for money and this is no exception. It has a brush that is a new one on me, with two completely different sides. The arched side of the applicator has tiny, two-pronged bristles to deliver the volume, and the flat side has longer teeth to lengthen and define with no clumps. It does deliver thick, long lashes, is a wee bit smudgy as most mascaras are. The wand is completely different and does take a wee bit getting used to.

Still on the eyes, Rimmel launch Exaggerate Smoke ‘N’ Shine Eye Definers (£3.99). These are automatic pencil eyeliners, that have a shiny, gel-like finish – that’s the shine. The smudger on the end can be used to blend them in – that’s the smoke. There are three colours – Little Black Smokey, Copper Bling and Blue Steel. If you love an eyeliner, give these a go, they are lovely and shiny!

Finally, Rimmel are launching another BB Cream. This one is the Radiance BB Cream (£6.99), and it comes in three shades – very light, light and medium. It’s formulated with a Vitamin C Complex, and shea butter, so is very nourishing, and adds a lovely radiance to the skin. It primes and conceals. I do love a BB or a CC cream, and this is a good one. It certainly has a more radiant effect than the original BB Cream which I reviewed last year. It is also a decent coverage for a BB cream.
