New Lip Pencils from Bobbi Brown
A lip pencil is one of those essentials that I always seem to be on the hunt for. They disappear, like socks, and kirby grips. Where do they go? I will be keeping a tight hold of any of the new Bobbi Brown Lip Pencils which went on counter this month.
Bobbi has expanded her lip liner offering by adding some new shades, and bringing back some old favourites, so there are not a total of 19 lip liners. That’s pretty immense, when you really think about it. Usually there are about five or six lipliner colours to choose from, no? I realise this is quite a lot of in-depth thought about, well, a pencil to draw your lips in with but, hey, that’s beauty chat for you!
There really is a Lip Pencil for any lip look now at Bobbi Brown. From nude, to bright or bold, Bobbi has it covered. The shades in full are: Pale Pink, Rose, Pink Mauve, Nude, Rum raisin, Cocoa, Chocolate Beige, Bobbi, Ballet Pink, Sangria, Pale Mauve, Red, Pale Peach, Bright Raspberry, True Pink, Burnt Orange, Bare, and Tangerine.
They are all lovely and soft, and perfect for lining the lips, before applying colour, or, as I love to do, lining and then filling in the entire lip, creating a brilliant base for your lipstick – particularly red – and making it very long-lasting.
Bobbi suggests using feathery strokes to avoid a harsh line – we all know how horrendous lip-liner errors can be, so please, don’t make them!
