If you read this blog regularly, you will know I am a huge fan of Emma Hardie and her products. She’s a brilliantly warm and funny person, and her products are gorgeous – and they work. back in the summer I Emma hardie brilliance facial oilhad a very early sneak peek at her most recently launched product, the Emma Hardie Brilliance Facial Oil.

This was supposed to launch months ago, just after the Emma Hardie Amazing Face The Midas Touch Face Serum, but it’s taken a wee while to get to the stores!

I kind of have a love/hate relationship with facial oils. I’ve used a few that have clogged up my pores, and I’ve used others that I felt were ineffective. I’ve yet to find one I truly love, other than the Origins Cleansing Oil. So, why is this new facial oil different? Or any better?

Well, it’s probably not that different, but it hasn’t clogged my pores yet, so that is a bonus! It’s a very lightweight oil, you use it everyday, and it has anti-ageing and antioxidant properties. It contains nine essential oils – Palma Rose, Orange, Mint, Vanilla, Geranium, Camomile, Lemon, Rose and Lavender, all of these helping to condition, hydrate and smooth the skin’s texture.

And then there are the five plant oils – Grape Seed Oil, Apricot, Almond, Olive Oil and Sunflower Oil, which contain Omega 3, to help restructure the skin and promote elasticity and moisturise. And finally, the unique Camelina ‘Gold of Pleasure’ oil, for those powerfiul anti-oxidant properties.

Facial oils are perfect for most skin types – don’t think you can’t use them if you have oily skin, this is not the case. They balance the skin, they don’t add oil to it. If you want this Emma Hardie Brilliance Facial Oil before Christmas, be quick, there is limited stock available on her website for now.
