Sanctuary Spa launch Wonder Oil Serum

sanctuary spa wonder serum 2Hands up those of you who use a serum and a moisturiser or facial oil? I know I do. So, I was intrigued to try this new Sanctuary Spa Wonder Oil Serum which has been created it seems to simplify our beauty regimes. Simply apply this after cleansing and then put your makeup on. Sounds perfect, the one-step beauty routine. But is it?

Well, its not bad. It’s a multi-tasker, and if time is short, I can see the appeal. Maybe I just like the beauty routine I have, but I quite enjoy layering on my skincare; it makes me feel like I have actually done it, if you understand what I mean?

This feels like a bit of a cheat to me, but it does feel nice! It’s lighter than a facial oil, yet more nourishing than a serum, and it does absorb well into the skin. It’s suitable for all skin types, so it’s not dedicated skincare – if that’s your thing, this isn’t.

Nichola Joss, Sanctuary Spa Skincare Expert explains the benefits of simplifying your skincare regime. “A lot of us think that by layering a concoction of products onto the skin we get the benefits of all of the products at once,” she says. “But, in fact, by doing so we are overloading and depriving our skin of the essential ingredients needed to repair and replenish.”

Well. That’s me told I guess!

Simplify your regime and only use one hero product after cleansing, like Sanctuary Spa Wonder Oil Serum,” Nichola advises. “This super light formulation immediately sinks into the skin, it repairs and replenishes on a cellular level to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while plumping, hydrating and boosting radiance. Use it daily to transform lacklustre skin – everything the skin needs in one quick and refreshing shot.”

So, if you are convinced, then try this new Wonder Oil Serum. It’s easy to use – you shake the bottle to mix the ingredients, apply a few drops to the palms of your hands and rub together, and then sweep both palms from the centre of the face, moving outwards then upwards, repeating three times.

The oil phase is a blend of skin nourishing and repairing oils including moringa, jojoba and pomegranate which skin into the skin and give intense hydration. The serum phase is powered by an active anti-ageing blend including red rice stem cells which immediately sinks into the skin and rejuvenate and firm at a cellular level. This wild red rice,  sustainable, naturally derived and originating from the Himalayas, has adapted to become resistant to its arid conditions, resulting in a natural resilience which as a skincare active means it helps improve your skin’s resilience.
