Origins and Indeed Labs Gel Beauty

hydraluron indeed labsI’ve been trying out a couple of new gel prodiucts over the weekend. The first is an innovative moisturiser from Indeed Labs (the brand behind the successful Nanoblur, which I blogged about the other year)  Hydraluron Moisture Jelly (£24.99, Boots) is a little pot of moisturising gel which you simply pump up when you want to use it. It has all sorts of science behind it – containing things like PatcH2O – a micron network moisture complex, and Fucogel, which helps form a protective film on the skin’s surface.  And, of course, hyaluronic acid.

It’s suitable for all skin types, which is where it doesn’t cut the mustard for me – I need something with even more punch, but if you want to try something new, and you are a fan of the Indeed Labs range, then give it a go, for the jelly factor if nothing else!

It absorbs really quickly, and it gives moisture needed to oily/combination skin. And the good news is it is on offer at £16.66 for a limited period instead of the RRP £24.99.

The second gel product I was using over the weekend, and one that I plan to pop into my case for my holidays, is Origorigins ginzing face mask gelins GinZing Refreshing Face Mask (£23, origins.co.uk). Again, it’s a bit drying on my skin, but it feels amazing when applied.

It’s already cooling, but popping it in the fridge when on holiday will be a welcome relief in the hot summer sun! It claims to help reduce puffiness, brighten dull and tired skin, restore vitality and radiance.

It contains energy-boosting coffee beans, refreshing cucumber and soothing Hoelen Mushroom to energise skin on contact. Oh,and it smells fab – thanks to a grapefruit, lemon and spearmint essential oil blend.

You are meant to put a layer over your skin and leave for 10 minutes, then tissue off. I found it had sunk into my dry skin well before the 10 minutes were up!

So, if you are looking for something a bit different to add to your beauty routine this week, these gels might be it!
