How cool are these sunglasses? And, even better, they’re FREE! Well, with two or more label.m haircare products. They’ve been specially created for label.m by award-winning fashion designer, Giles Deacon. Label.m have been working for 12 season with Giles backstage as the official haircare partner at his London Fashion Week shows. And this is the seventh creative partnership – and I have to say my favourite so far!

Renowned for his statement yet playful style, established designer, Giles’ spring / summer ’14 collection was a puckered pink lip-print of perfection, with a nod to The Rolling Stones’ ‘mouth motif’, and inspired directly by Georgia May Jagger, who walked in the show and famous for her own ‘the gap’ pout. Working closely with label.m’s Global Creative Director, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, Giles has taken a side step from his cutting table to create the first pair of designer sunglasses for label.m clients and paying homage to his SS’14 collection.

“We love our collaborations with Giles and the fact that we can offer our clients the chance to own collectable, yet exclusive pieces. To that effect I really wanted something a bit different this season and together we agreed on these stylish limited edition sunglasses for SS’14, ” says Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, Global Creative Director

I love them – they’re a lovely tortoiseshell brown with an accent of on-trend pastel pink, and they come in a pout print pouch!

“My long term friend Donald Robertson painted the lip-print design, which dominated the SS’14 collection – inspired by Georgia May Jagger’s famous gap,” says Giles. “This has been applied to the sunglasses created exclusively for the collaboration with label.m.”

The limited edition Giles designs for label.m sunglasses are available exclusively during summer 2014 as a complementary GWP, when any TWO or more label.m products are purchased, whilst stocks last.
