Get Wiggy with The Body Shop
It’s that time of year again, when The Body Shop raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust by having their staff don wigs, and do makeovers and hand massages in store for donations. They also send wigs out to beauty bloggers, journalists and editors, so that we can flood social media with silly pictures of us in wigs to raise awareness! Last year I had a bit of an 80s disaster wig – this year I am loving my new blue hue! What do you think? Katy Perry eat your heart out!
Staff in The Body Shop stores will be wearing wigs, and if you want to join in the online noise, then pop a wig on, take a picture and tweet or instagram it using the #GetWiggy, and directing them @TheBodyShopUK and @TeenageCancer
The ‘Get Wiggy Weekender’ runs from today – May 9, until Sunday May 11, and The Body Shop will be matching all donations up to £20,000 for this excellent cause! So, go take a wiggie and donate!
