Bobbi Brown Raw Sugar for Summer
If Bobbi Brown launched nothing again after her amazing Art Sticks, I could live with that. But, well, that’s a tad selfish, and there’s plenty more Bobbi Brown beauty goodness to come, you’ll be glad to know, starting with this lovely Raw Sugar Collection.
Perfect for summer, inspired by the warm hues of raw sugar crystals, Bobbi’s Raw Sugar collection brings to life shimmering textures of sugary nudes and bronzed, sun-kissed skin. The mix of shimmering and what we are now calling ‘flat’ formulas works with all skintones, as Bobbi puts it, ‘to lightly sweeten your natural glow‘. It’s the perfect holiday collection – the no-makeup, makeup for summer.
There are five products in the collection, at the centre the Limited Edition Raw Sugar Shimmer Brick Eye Palette (£35) which is just fantastic if you are a shimmer fan – swipe through it and apply for a shimmery wash of colour , or use each shade individually for a more sculpted look.
There are two bronzers – first the Limited Edition Bronzing Powder (£27) which has been formulated for all skin types, and has just the right mix of red and brown – colours you’d find in a true tan, to give you that warm, healthy-looking glow. The shade is called Elvis Duran. Secondly, there’s the Illuminating Bronzing Powder (£27) in Telluride, which has a unique blend of sheer powder and micro pearls to give skin natural-looking luminosity.
Bobbi Brown Nail Polish (£11) is really good – if you haven’t tried it, give it a go. The two lovely shades in this collection are Golden Beige and Raw Sugar. Absolutely beautiful with summery skin.
Finally, back by popular demand is Bobbi’s Tinted Lip Balm (£15) Moisturising and nourishing, you get just a sheer pop of colour with this, and the luxe butters and oils within condition your lips, leaving them soft, supple and full of shine. There are four colours to choose from – Pink Raspberry, Brown, Pink Popsicle and Hazelnut.
