Bakewell Soap Company Foot Soother

I ran 10 miles at the end of April in the BUPA Great Edinburgh Run. It was challenging and rewarding after months of training, in the rain and wind. The race itself was great, the pain afterwards, horrendous!
My legs were in agony some three days after the race, but my feet were somewhat soothed by this little pot of goodness from The Bakewell Soap Company.
Their Foot Soother Healing Foot Balm was a welcome relief for my poor feet, and also my lower legs – who knew a little pot of potion could give so much joy!

Made from 99% natural ingredients, this excellent foot soother works wonders on sore soles, dry, irritable skin and cracked heels. I have the latter  every day of the year, but they are getting better after a week or so of using this.
The balm uses light oils to deliver active ingredients of Cineol – to soothe muscles, and Sesquiterpene, an anti-inflammatory. Peppermint oil helps cool and revitalise, and Lavender Oil helps relax weary feet. It also contains Arnica, for healing.
It’s a solid balm, but you get a decent amount if you run your finger over it. I’m not sure it was enough for my poor calves though – I probably needed to scoop it out! This little pot of goodness is the perfect way to prepare your feet for summer sandals as well. Cracked heels on show are a definite style no-no, so get working on them now!
The Bakewell Soap Company Foot Soother Healing Foot Balm, £6.95 for 30g, is available from bakewellsoap.co.uk, notonthehighstreet.com and at independent stores nationwide.
