Totally Tropical Makeup!

Fashion has gone totally tropical this spring/summer – there are palm tree, flamingo and beach prints everywhere. So, we thought we’d look at some totally tropical makeup to go with your tropical fashion.

Think bold and bright. Key colours for this tropical look are acid pinks and oranges, bold turquoises, sea greens, and paler versions of all shades to complement the brights. And don’t forget a bit of yellow for the sun! MAC have a new collection called Playland launching in June – it’s bold, bright, and full of tropical colours.

Deborah Lippmann’s 80s Rewind nail polish collection is the brightest I’ve seen in a while – choose from brilliant bold colours named after 1980s hits! Chanel’s summer collection launches in June – and there’s an orange mascara in the mix! It doesn’t get more tropical than that!
