Plumping Rose from Melvita

It’s never too early to think about anti-ageing, but it is wise to use anti-ageing products specifically targeted to younger skin. Melvita’s new Plumping Rose collection is just that. Designed to tackle the first signs of ageing, it combines the moisturising powers of wild rose petals with a new extract from the rose’s vitamin-rich fruit, rose hip. Together the fruit and flower form a complex with plumping properties, to help smooth first wrinkles and restore your skin’s radiance.

There are three products in this lovely range, to be used whenever you first think you may be seeing signs of ageing.(Although Melvita doesn’t say, I guess this product is targeted at the late 20s, early 30s age group.)

The Hero product of the three is the Plumping Radiance Duo (£25) which is a gentle bi-phase formula, combining the power of the rose fruit and flower, along with the skincare benefits of water and oil, in one single product. Damask rose floral water provides revitalising properties, while Damask rose oil offers regenerating benefits. You simply spray this into the palm of the hand, and massage over face and neck. It’s ideal as a preparation for night cream, or a lighter alternative to a facial oil in the summer months.

There is also a Plumping Radiance Serum (£34) which should be applied morning and evening to cleansed skin, to tone and firm and smooth away the first signs of wrinkles. After one month of use, 72% of women said skin was firmer and more supple.

Finally, Plumping Radiance Cream (£30) will help erase the signs of fatigue and those first signs of ageing. Your skin will look plumped and be perfectly moisturised. Use this over your serum for maximum effect.
