Kate Moss Does Rimmel Eyes!
Kate Moss has been a Rimmel London girl for years now it seems, but next month she launches her first eye collection with them. Idol Eyes (see what they did there?!) is as Kate says ‘inspired by my favourite gem stones and jewels.’
There are four shades of mascara, four shades of shimmering Shadow Stick and a special edition Gel Eye Liner by Kate.
The Kate Mascara (£7.49) has a broken heart shaped brush, comes in four shades – Eye Rock Jet Black, Eye Rock Sapphire, Eye Rock Amethyst and Eye Rock Emerald. Do you like coloured mascaras? I’ve had ago with these and they do give interesting coverage. I’m just perhaps a more of a black mascara fan – brown at a push.
The four new shades of Shadow Stick (£4.49) complement the lashes – they’re really easy to use, and they do blend well. The colours are Rose Gold, Deep Amethyst, Pure Turquoise and Electric Sapphire.
“The intense, authentic shades of mascara, eye colour and liner are perfect for creating either a statement or a more subtle eye-look,” says Kate.
The Gel Eye Liner by Kate (£6.99) is in a glass jar, and it’s dark emerald green! It comes with a pro brush. It dries quickly, and the colour is actually fantastic. Nice eyes, Kate!
Kate is also launching a new nail and lipstick line, called the Urban Bohemian Collection. Perfect name – we think that’s pretty much what Ms Moss is, agreed?!
“I’ve always loved the laid-back bohemian looks because it’s all about individual creativity and self-expression,” says Kate. “So, I’ve worked with Rimmel to create a palette that combines rich, earthy tones with cool brights and soft nudes. Using the shades in my Urban Collection for lips and nails, you can create a look as strong or as romantic as you like.”
Kate’s creamy Lipsticks (£5.49) are infused with light-reflecting black diamOind and black mica for stay-true colours. There are five shades – all with just numbers – pink, rose, plum red, and nude.
The new Salon Pro with Lycra Nail Polishes (£4.49) are glossy and give a gel-shine finish. The colours are Goddess, Seduce, Nymph and Bewitch.
