Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014
As sure as spring follows winter, Bronze Goddess from Estee Lauder comes along every summer! It’s back again, and this year’s Bronze Goddess 2014 Collection has a few interesting highlights.
The collection is, of course, based around the original fragrance, and this year there is the Bronze Goddess Fragrance Collection, which is multi-sensorial, and multi-textural! It comprises the cult-favourite Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche (£47), with a bright Body Splash (£56) and the luxurious Whipped Body Creme (£29), and Shimmering Body Oil (£29).
But the makeup collection is the biggest part of the Bronze Goddess now – and this year it has everything from eyes, to lips, to nails to tan.
The lovely Nudes Eyeshadow Palette (£40) has a hint of the, dareisayit, Bobbi Brown about it! It features eight shades to highlight, define and dramatise eyes, to achieve soft or sensual and sultry looks. There are five nudes, from the lightest of lights to the darkest of darks. The other three shades are high-intensity gelee shades which have amplified colour and a high-impact metallic finish.
For cheeks there is a new Limited Edition Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow (£25) which is a lovely cream blush, giving a hint of colour, which is buildable, and suits all skin tones.
The new lip product for this summer is, well, what else, but a lip crayon! Chubby Sticks have a lot to answer for! Estee Lauder’s version – Limited Edition, and called the Pure Color LipShine (£18) is well, not so chubby, but it’s lovely and balmy, not tacky, and is buildable colour.
It comes in just two shades – Mandarin and Luscious Plum to complement your sun-kissed summer glow! They contain mango and shea butter to keep your lips moisturised in the summer sun.
Nails are a big part of the Bronze Goddess 2014 collection, with FIVE shades of Limited Edition Pure Color Nail Lacquers (£14.50) available, to complement the Nudes Eye Palette. The shades are Bare, Buffed, Burnished Nude, Lust and Scorpion – all really wearable, and perfect with a hint of a summer glow.
The Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer Collection (this fabulous bronzer comes in four shades – Light, Medium, Medium Deep and Deep, £30 each) and Limited Edition Luminous Liquid Bronzer (£28) are the same as previous years, as are the lovely fragrance products.
The Bronze Goddess Summer 2014 Collection is available at House of Fraser stores now, and from all other Estee Lauder counters and esteelauder.co.uk, from May.
