Clarins' latest self-tan innovation

clarins made to measure self tanClarins have come up trumps in my book with their  new innovative self-tan product, Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster. Okay, the name is a bit of a mouthful, but the concept is clever, and the product is great.

It’s basically a little bottle of fake tan essence that you drop into your own skincare product, creating your very own personalised self-tanner! Presented in a very handy dropper bottle, this is the first Clarins self tanner designed to add radiance and healthy glow benefits to your day cream.

All you need to do is mix a small amount of your regular day or night cream in the palm of your hand, add in three drops of Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster and apply to the skin.

This method allows the self tanner to develop evenly on the skin. This is brilliant for self-tan idiots like me who really struggle with streak-free tanning! It’s a dinky little bottle, and it’s really easy to use. See the graphic below.

It’s patented, odourless, formula is designed for made-to-measure use, with ingredients interacting with the amino acids in the corneal layer to activate colouring of the skin.

Compared to regular self tanners, Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster has a much higher concentration of self tanning active ingredients, and it has added Aloe Vera Extract to help maintain skin’s softness.

It has some pretty impressive test stats – women loved the healthy glow effect and 90%  felt they had an even tan result while 91% of women said it adapted to their skintone.

You can mix it with all textures – creams, gels and serums. Add it to your day cream, or even your sun cream. You should use three drops per day and then continue with three drops a day until you are happy with the tan, and then just use two drops to maintain it. Like with all tans, wash hands after use!
