Powerful Wrinkle Reducing from Kiehl's!

It’s quite a brave claim, calling your new anti-ageing cream ‘Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream‘ as Kiehl’s have done, but it certainly sold it to me. I couldn’t wait to give this new cream a go when it landed on my desk.

I’ve been using it for a week or so, and I am impressed with it so far. I need a rich, hydrating moisturiser, having dry skin, and this really delivers hydration as well as the anti-ageing benefits. My skin feels, and looks, brighter already.

Kiehl’s claim that this POWERFUL cream improves elasticity by 32% within four weeks – that’s a big claim. The active ingredients are Copper PCA and Abyssine. Apparently the copper is essential for stimulating the production of elastin, the stuff that keeps skin supple and youthful looking, whilst also acting as an antioxidant to help improve the skin’s barrier function.

There are always consumer tests with skincare products, and these are quite impressive. A cross section of 50 women, aged 35-55 trialed the cream for four weeks, and 84% of them said their fine lines looked visibly reduced, and 83& of them said the look of pores had decreased. A massive 96% said their skin felt smoother, and 92% said their skin texture seemed to approve.

So, I will be keeping an eye on my pores and my fine lines and wrinkles over the next few weeks, as I will definitely be carrying on using this lovely cream. I’ve already noted that my skin feels smooth, and looks brighter.
