Glamore, Illamasqua style!
The gorgeous new Illamasqua Glamore collection hasn’t escaped the pastelheads craze I discussed on here earlier this week – argh! But I will forgive them because this is a lovely little collection, and it hits counters today!
Glamore is all about, well, glamour of course. The campaign imagery is great – reminds me of the Hollywood epic heyday – Esther Williams and her amazing swiming movies. If you’ve never seen them, Google!
It’s a small collection, focusing on lips, nails and brows. I am particularly intrigued by Eye Brow Cake (£15.50) which isn’t new, but I haven’t tried before. You need an Angled Brush (£9) to apply it, which I love doing – taking time and sculpting your eyebrows is a great, decadent thing to do in your beauty routine.
The new products are three shades of Shattered Star Nails (£15) – Trilliant, Marquise and Fire Rose. That’s a champagne, and orange and a pink with a multi-dimensional glitter finish.
The Satin Finish Glamore Lipstick (£16.50) comes in three shades – Soaked, Glissade and Luster. This new satin finish formula is glossy and rich, and the shades are vibrant orange, bold pink and candy pink. 
As well as this new collection, Illamasqua’s Beauty School Drop In returns, taking place internationally in stores an counters on a quarterly basis.
The first event of the year is this Sunday, March 2, with a Red Carpet Glamour theme, perfect for Oscars Day! Pop along to receive a complimentary lesson from Illamasqua professional artists on how to use the products to achieve a red carpet look!
