Babyliss Brilliant Shine Ionic Brush

The Babyliss Brilliant Shine Ionic Brush is maybe a bit odd. But, I think it works. I say think, because I’m not 100% convinced yet. But I do think there’s something in it. So, what is it?

Basically, the brush uses a high-tech, ionic generator to release conditioning ions directly into the hair, removing unwanted static and that unruly frizz. Essentially it makes your hair less unruly, less static, and therefore you have less flyaways.

And it utilises ions to do that, like most hairdryers do. Hairdryers use charged ionic particles to dissolve moisture droplets. Ions are molecules with a positive or negative charge. So, an ionic dryer uses less heat and power to dry hair in less time. And less heat equals healthier, smoother, shinier hair.

This is science according to me, and I failed physics and chemistry, but the ions work in a similar way in this brush to give you lovely smooth hair. Who knows if this is the truth or not? All I know is that the brush does give you really smooth hair. It hasn’t dealt with all of my flyaways, but my hair is in a bit of a state.

It feels nice, isn’t tough on the scalp, and just takes two small batteries to power it, which are included. If you love hair gadgets, then I’d say give this a go.
