Clarins Opalescence Spring Makeup

1 min read

In the darkness of January comes light – and Opalescence – from Clarins, in the form of their spring makeup collection. This lovely collection celebrates the end of winter (bring it on!) with a harmony of luminous colours. It’s soft and fresh, and, as ever, has a gorgeous powder palette at the heart.

The Limited Edition Face & Blush Powder (£30) is perfect for all skin tones and offers a boost of radiance. Sweep it over the face to add a ray of light or add a touch of blush with the light pink tone for a rosy hue. This palette has a lovely holographic lid.

There are four shades of the new Multi-Blush Cream Blush (£18). Peach, Candy, Grenadine and Rosewood make up the shades of this cream to powder blusher, which goes on easily and creates a light, natural glow.

The lovely Limited Edition Eye Quartet Mineral Palette (£31) has four gorgeous shades – a white highlighter, opulent pink and grey shades, and a lovely plum eyeliner, to give depth to your subtle eye.  There are two shades of Gloss Prodige (£17), one of them Crystal – a clear gloss perfect for those who want a truly natural look – or you could use it over your favourite lip colour. Which brings me to the three lovely shades of Joli Rouge Brilliant Sheer Shine Lipstick (£18). Tropical Pink, Coral Tulip and Pink Orchid, are all gorgeous sheer shades, deeply moisturising, with a soft texture. The lipstick leaves your lips looking fuller, and it’s incredibly shiny!
