Chanel Spring Collection 2014
It’s January, it’s a wee bit dull, we’re all feeling a bit flat, so what better to pick us up than a gorgeous Spring makeup collection from Chanel?! Here it is! Available in a couple of weeks, the Collection Notes de Printemps is a gorgeous red, pink and coral feast for the eyes!
A spring red is at the heart of the collection, for lips, nails and cheeks, but the big bright pink is going to be huge. We predict a bit pink theme this spring, carrying on from Autumn Winter 2013.
Eyes are touched with pastels in pinks, soft lavenders and plums. Choose from the lovely Limited Edition Lumiere Facettes Quadrille (£42) which is a lovely eye quartet of shadows in grey lavender, intense brown, satiny apricot pink, or ivory, or try the single Illusion D’Ombre iridescent eye shadows (£24) which are available in Diapson which has a hint of violet plum, and Impulsion, a pastel pink with silver shimmers.
There is also an Eyeshadow Duo (£31) in a lovely pale pink, and deep plum. For nails, chose Le Vernis (£18) in Charivari, a dark mauve, or Tapage, a soft, vibrant red. For cheeks, the Cream Blush (£27) coems in a rosy red, Chamade, and the warm, intense coral pink, Intonation. The Natural Finish Pressed Powder (£31) is a universal peach shade, and will even out your complexion.
The lips make this collection, and there are three types of lipstick in gorgeous new shades. Rouge Allure Velvet (£25) – a bold matte lip colour, comes in L’Adoree, a lovely plum, and La Diva – a bold fuchsia pink. Rouge Allure (£25) comes in two beautiful shades – Melodieuse, a fresh and tangy, candy red, and Fougueuse, a brilliant bright pink.
And Rouge Coco (£24) comes in two really super-springlike shades; Dedicace, a fresh bluish pink, and Triomphe, a soft springtime, peachy pink coral. The Lip Pencil (£17.50) in Sonic Pink is my absolute favourite though! There are also Lip Glosses (£21) as ever, in more lovely shades.
