Bobbi Brown's Nude Glow

2 min read

If there is going to be one big trend in beauty this spring, it’s nude. It’s part of the trend for all things 1990s which started to happen in the fashion world last autumn, and if you love nudes, you’re in luck.

Bobbi Brown is, of course, the undisputed queen of the nude look. So, it’s no surprise that she has a brand new nude collection – Nude Glow, out  this month. I’m not overly keen on the Katie Holmes campaign image. Perhaps it brings back too many 1990s memories for me! It’s also a bit, well, wedding-y, don’t you think? Brides are going to love this collection, I feel.

It contains three new Limited Edition Eye Palettes (£35) which each contain four shadows in an array of formulas, from matte, to soft shimmer, to sparkle. They are perfect for day and night, and can be worn alone, or layered for a full-on smouldering, 1990s nude look! The palettes are the Crystal Eye Palette, the Nude Eye Palette, and the Bronze Eye Palette.

There are three Limited Edition Sheer Lip Colors (£19) in Pink Gold, Pink Flush and Pink Rose. They are lovely and moisturising, and offer just a hint of colour on the lips. The three Nail Polishes (£11) are Pale, Ballet Pink Glitter, and Bronze Shimmer. The collection also features three Brightening Finishing Powders (£40) – the Bronze Glow is a new shade; Porcelain Pearl and Brightening Nudes the others. You can use these to illuminate the skin, just by blending all shades together and applying to cheeks, forehead. nose and chin.
