I have to admit that I am not a fan of a shimmer lipstick. I love a matte. Generally a red, sometimes a pink, maybe an orange, and occasionally a berry. However, these new shimmer finish lipsticks from Bobbi Brown haven’t a hint of metallic or frost-finish. They are a new breed of shimmer – sheer, multi-dimensional, and, although still not my choice, I can see the appeal.
Her lipsticks are now available in twelve shimmery shades, combining high-shine emollients and light-reflective pearls for something completely fresh. They are sheer – don’t be looking for loads of colour coverage here. That makes them perfect for spring. They are also very moisturising, thanks to ingredients like Shea Butter and Muru Muru Butter. Lips need extra conditioning at this time of year, so make sure your lipstick can deliver!
