MAC's 1970s themed Holiday collection

2 min read

MAC has taken us all the way back to the 1970s, disco and the heyday of New York club Studio 54 with their Divine Night Holiday collection. Their campaign shot is stunning, and the products are really lovely.

MAC Christmas Divine Night

The collection contains Mineralize Eye Shadow, Blush and Skinfinish (£19, £22, £24), with gorgeous Cremesheen Lipglass (£19) and Lipstick shades. The Eyeshadows are in limited edition designs with two shades in one palette. There are six in total, with fantastic names – Exquisite Ego, Past Midnight, Tonight’s Temptation, and more. The Skinfinish also comes with two shades in one.

The Lipstick (£16.50) shades range from a pale nude, to a bold plum with a bright red in there too. There are three lovely festive Nail Lacquers (£12) as well – a rich gold bronze, a black matte with silver sude pearl, and a blackened plum.

MAC Divine Night Christmas collection

The whole collection is exotic, opulent and heady. It’s absolutely perfect for this time of year. Break whatever beauty rules you’ve been told, and ramp up the eyes and mouth for full-on disco glamour. The collection also includes Fluidline Eyeliners (£16.50), Kohl Powder Eye Pencil (£15.50) and False Lashes to finish off the look.

MAC do makeup instruction on counter, and I’m heading there soon to learn how to put on aforementioned false lashes, as I am hopeless at it!

MAC’s Divine Night makeup collection is available now, from MAC locations nationwide, and at maccosmetics.co.uk – and be quick, it’s limited and bound to sell fast!
