Lancome Winter Makeup and Limited La Vie Est Belle
Another gorgeous Christmas collection, this time from Lancome. Snow is forecast this winter, but I think I prefer the snow-inspired festive collection from Lancome to the real white stuff! Inspired by the magic of a snowy winter scene, the satin radiance of snowflakes and the glitter of frost, Lancôme’s Christmas collection is a classic palette of whites, silvery greys and bold red.
Lancôme Hypnose Star mascara (£22) gets dressed up and covered with silver sprinkles – it’s beautiful inside and out. The mascara itself is an iridescent silvery black formula. Limited edition for the holiday season, L’Absolu Rouge Swarovski (£25) has hand-applied SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystals and is housed in a black velvet case. It comes in two shades – Caprice and Rouge Etincelle.
The Highlighter Rose Etincelle (£35) is subtly pink in hue, and iridescent. It instantly illuminates every complexion – just apply with a brush to beautify your face and décolleté. There are four Hypnose Ultra Dazzling Colours eyeshadows (£21), which have sparkle inside a waterproof mousse texture. Easy to apply, thinly veiled for a wash of colour, or buildable for a deep smokey eye. There are four shades – black, silver, taupe and black.
Two gorgeous Vernis in Love nail colours (£12.50) have an innovative ‘Colour Coat’ technology, which allows them to have a frosted, half-matte, half-shimmer finish. Shades are Silver and White.
Also just for Christmas, there is a GORGEOUS Limited Edition of classic Lancome fragrance, La Vie Est Belle. The best-selling fragrance is presented in a glittering, festive bottle adorned with six dazzling organza petals – it’s a lovely Christmas gift.
The original fragrance was created by an exceptional collaboration between three of French perfumery’s most-respected noses; Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo. It has Italian Iris Pallida, depth of patchouli, a gourmand note from vanilla, praline and tonka bean, and Tunisian orange blossom and white jasmine absolute. The Christmas Edition (£66) is available now, and is exclusive to Debenhams.
