World of Wingman

One for the boys, more specifically the Wingmen! It’s a new brand in town, called Wingman, created by Stuart Jolley, star of Britain’s Next Big Thing, and has been designed to make your life that little bit easier, guys.

Wingman cleanses like an invigorating shower gel and shampoo, yet also provides moisturising aloe vera to deliver a super close shave. I have distributed this amongst friends who seem to think it is pretty good – my other half has a beard, so can’t comment on the shaving side of it. I think it smelt a little bit chemical, like most men’s body washes, but, hey, what do I know?!

Wingman 3 In 1 Jet Wash Multi-Gel to give the product its full name – comes in three manly varieties- Jetfuel, Boom and Charge.

Jetfuel is apparently for the real man – speed, raw power and burning rubber give an adrenaline rush like nothing else – welcome to the fast lane, says the blurb on this one!

Boom is for the party animal – which is not an easy task all the time, apprently, but with Boom you will always bring your game!

And, finally, Charge – for the man who always lives the dream – life should be an adventure, who wants to be boring? You won’t with this!

I like the brand’s tongue-in-cheek approach, and I was intrigued by their claims to have sponsored French skydiver Raphael Dumont, 31, from Chamonix to leap from a 300ft ledge above Lake Garda in Italy, glide to earth using a hydro adapted (and Wingman branded) wingsuit, before landing on the lake.

Apparently the culmination of three years of preparation, everyone who has commented on YouTube seems to think it is a fake – nothing more than a good advert for this brand!  I think it is indeed a pretty fun piece of viral marketing – Raphael is supposed to have over 600 jumps under his belt, but there seems to be no trace of him on the internet at all..!
