I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! Now! presenter, Laura Whitmore,  looked lovely as co-host of the Scottish Fashion Awards earlier this month. She was given a beautiful makeover in the bareMinerals Scottish Fashion Awards Style Suite, and we have found out exactly how to recreate her on-trend neutral look.

If you want to recreate her lovely natural look, here’s how:

Laura’s skin was prepped with a layer of bareMinerals Active Cell Renewal Night Serum. Well Rested Face and Eye Brightener was swept under the eye area and around the nose, and then for a bit more coverage, SPF20 Corrective Concealer was used in Light 2. For the base, Laura wore Matte SPF15 Foundation in Medium Beige.
To ensure Laura’s makeup lasted for hours, a light dusting of Mineral Veil was set over the t-zone to soak up any shine. Eyes were kept simple with the READY Duo in The Epiphany. The lighter shade, A-Ha, was washed over the lids and underneath the eye. The darker shade, Foreshadow, was blended into the outer socket line.
Two coats of Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara in Black were applied to lashes.
To create a bronzed and tonal effect, READY Blush in Whisper was swept on the cheekbones to keep the whole look warm and sensual.
Marvelous Moxie Lip Liners in Liberated and Pumped were mixed together all over the lips to create a soft light brown.
The Limited Edition Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Survivor was glossed on top.

This universally flattering shade by bareMinerals is one to buy this October – the company will donate £5 during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to charity, Look Good Feel Better. All products mentioned are available at bareMinerals locations nationwide.

We also caught up with Laura recently to ask her a few questions about her role as Pond’s Institute Brand Ambassador, and with the party season on its way, get an insight into her favourite Christmas party beauty looks.

Laura, what does your daily beauty routine involve?

Cleanse-tone-moisturise. That’s what my mother taught me, and I have always done it. She has great skin so I will always take her advice!

What are your top three beauty essentials?

Pond’s Institute Cold Cream – great multi-tasking product I use as a cleaner, hand cream, face mask, and more! It’s so nourishing and really works to remove my makeup. I also love Evian Facial Sprays – I use them all the time under or over my makeup for hydration and a dewy look. I Love Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. It gives my skin a nice finish and never looks like I’ve got too much makeup on. I also like the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, if I want something quick and easy.

How do you prepare for a Christmas party?

When I was younger my friends and I would taker AGES to get ready for a party! We’d be deciding on how to do our hair and getting our makeup ready, it was such a laugh. But now I think I know what suits me to doesn’t take as long. I always look after my skin – that’s the most important thing, and if your skin looks really healthy then you don’t need a lot of makeup.

For women like yourself, who are constantly on the go, how would you recommend updating your daytime look for any post-work Christmas drinks?

I love a red lipstick or some instant glamour. I think it dresses up any outfit, and always looks so glam. One of my favourite reds is Russian Red by MAC.

I guess you miss out on some of the harsh winter weather which can affect our skin, how do you deal with any winter skin issues you may have?

Yes, I am lucky to be filming I’m A Celebrity in Australia in our winter, which is their summer, so I miss most of the cold weather. But my skin can get really dry when it’s cold, so I will always take time to apply extra moisturiser.

(I’d recommend Laura switch her moisturiser for something different in the winter, if she suffers from dry skin issues. Look out for some more winter skincare tips on the blog soon!)
