Beauty Bargain - Wow Brows and Dual Liners from Maybelline

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

This week’s Beauty Bargain of the Week is actually two products, both by Maybelline, and both excellent! First up is the Maybelline New York Brow Drama Sculpting Gel Mascara (£4.99) to give it its full name! This will give you the ultimate ‘wow brow’ – and trust me, brows are a BIG trend this season and next!  Available in Dark Blonde, Medium Brown and Dark Brown, this mascara-like product has a new 360° ball brush. The ball brush enables you to cover every brow hair corner, leaving no bare hairs. It’s really easy to use – you just brush it on to your eyebrows in light upwards strokes, starting from the nose, and brushing out to the ear.

Another big trend this season, and next is eyeliner – cat liner, subtle lines, Amy Winehouse style huge lines – you can get it all with Maybelline New York  Eye Studio Master Duo (£5.29).

This liquid liner has a  patented dual-sided applicator that draws lines of two different widths, depending on how the tip is pressed against the lid. Using the applicator on the wide side creates a thick line, while the skinny side produces a thin line – pretty easy to remember! It’s easy to use – with a twist of the wrist you can get a  different look. The liner itself has great pigment, delivering deep colour, and it stays on well.
