Estee Lauder Spring 2014 sneak peek!

Autumn/Winter isn’t even out of the way yet, but here’s a sneak peek at what Estee Lauder have to offer next Spring in a special collaboration between designer Derek Lam, and Estee Lauder’s Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux.

At yesterday’s Derek Lam Spring 2014 runway show at the Sean Kelly Gallery in New York, Tom Pecheux led a team of 15 makeup artists to create the beauty looks on 30 models.

To celebrate the ten year collaboration between Tom Pecheux and Derek Lam, Estée Lauder introduces an exclusive, limited-edition five-piece makeup collection, which will be  available Spring 2014 at selected Estée Lauder counters.

Four pieces of this special collection were used to create the look for Derek Lam’s Spring 2014 show at New York Fashion Week.

“Derek and I created a makeup look that builds throughout the show.  It opens with a minimal look that enhances each model’s natural beauty, followed by an added unique edge, and closes with a sexy summer look,” says Tom Pecheux. “The skin is a creamy natural base with a gradually golden eyeshadow and a satin nude lip.  The eyes transform with the addition of a navy cube added to the corners along with navy liner under the eye and mascara on the upper lashes.”
