Beauty Bargain of the Week - Models Own Velvet Goth Collection

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

I am in LOVE with this week’s Beauty Bargain. A fiver for the most amazing nail polish – what’s not to like?! Models Own Velvet Goth Collection is five beautiful, inky pigmented colours, each with an amazing finish – They are weirdly matte and sparkly at the same time.And they are as good as any of the premium priced nail colours I’ve used.

They dry down to a matte finish, which feels velvety. I am absolutely in love with the one I’ve been using this week and I am heading back to the shops ASAP to get the other four colours.

This is Valerian, a rich bottle blue. I had this on for about four days the forst time I applied, with minimal chipping, which is always an issue for me with glittery polishes. It also doesn’t take about an hour to take it off, which is a bonus! The bottle cap is velvety to touch, and the polish itself has the most amazing effect.

The other colours available are Sardonyx, a blood scarlet red, Amethyst, a royal purple, Absinthe, a burst of deep emerald green, and Obsidian, a deep charcoal grey.
