The Bobbi & Katie Collection!
It was bound to happen. Katie Holmes has been the face of Bobbi Brown for a while now, so it was no surprise when news of a Bobbi & Katie Collection landed on my desk. It’s a very simple collection – just two pieces to it, and it is, apparently, the ultimate makeup lineup for today’s modern woman.
Katie Holmes is a bit, well, meh, for me, but there’s no denying she’s a classic, understated beauty. Bobbi Brown is the Queen of understated makeup chic, so this collection is, well, classic and understated.
It’s basically one Limited Edition Bobbi & Katie Palette (£50) which is in a book form, inspired by one of Katie’s favourite journals (who wouldn’t like a look in that!?) and reflecting that classic ‘fashion design sensability’ she has.(They said that, not me!)
The palette is housed in a beautiful cloth-bound case, which opens to reveal an interior mirror, eight Eye Shadows, two Pot Rouges and one Mini Eye Pencil.
The shades range from nudes to pinks to browns and are designed to complement all skin tones, and to work for day to evening looks. If you love Bobbi palettes, then you are going to have to add this one to your collection!
And they didn’t stop at a palette! Bobbi & Katie have also created a lovely Bobbi & Katie Mini Brush Set (£45). This is apparently designed for modern women on the go, just like Bobbi & Katie… It’s a space-saving, multi-tasking set.
It’s a lovely brown bag, with four Mini Brushes in one zipper-pocket that work perfetly with the palette. A separate zipper-pocket is big enough to store the Bobbi & Katie Palette – what more could you ask for?!
