Paul & Joe Beaute's Fairytale Collection
Paul & Joe makeup is SO unbelievably pretty, I really hate using it. I still have items from the most amazing cat collection they did, and I’m probably keeping these little bits and bobs from this mini-collection, the Fairytale Collection, unused and on my shelf as well!
Let’s be honest, the make up is nice, but it’s not the first reason why you would buy this stuff, is it? It’s the stunning attention to detail – the embossing, the packaging – it’s all just stunning. It’s the absolutely perfect gift for a beauty lover, and this lovely little collection has just three pieces, so you can get all three for someone special!
Based on the fairytales of our childhood – what’s not to love about that – there are three different Eye Colour Sets (£27) – Princess, Fairytale and La Belle Epoque. Each of them contains a cream shadow, a powder shadow, and a little bottle of fairy dust. Well, okay, it’s eye colour powder, but hey, fairy dust sounds much better, no? The eyeshadow shades are all soft and pretty, the fairy dust is either gold, silver or platinum. The little boxes they come in are decorated beautifully and inside each it says ‘Once upon a time, in a faraway land…’
The Lipsticks (£14) & Lipstick Cases (£7) are just the cutest idea – you can buy one lipstick and three cases if you like, or buy them all. There are three shades of Lipstick – Once Upon A Time is a bright and bold pumpkin – remind you of Cinderella’s coach perhaps? Far, Far Away is a sweet, soft pink, and Happily Ever After is an amazing bold magenta.
You can choose your Lipstick Case from three designs – a perfect pastel vintage inspired grey case, a fairytale case with peachy rosebuds, or a wildly cool tribal print. You then pop the lipstick into the case, and marvel at the beauty of it!
I’m off to gaze lovingly at mine, and decide whether to use it or not!
