Estee Lauder - The Metallics

Metallics scream autumn/winter/partyseason to me – don’t you agree? But there are elements of this new Estee Lauder Pure Color The Metallics collection that still have a hint of summer to them. The gorgeous Pure Color High Intensity Lip Lacquer (£21) has the most amazing shiny, glass-like finish – this is me wearing Hot Cherry below. The beautful coral Melting Sun shade will allow you a summer hangover in the first weeks of autumn. They also have a new bell shaped applicator which is excellent.

The collection also features lovely metallic Limited Edition Pure Color Vivid Shine Lipsticks (£20) which have rich colour that shines, and a tri-complex of refined metalized gold and silver pearls envelop lips to create an amplified chromatic finish – they really do have a metallic sheen. There are six lovely shades of these in total, and 12 of the Lip Lacquer.

At the heart of the collection are eight fantastic Pure Color Vivid Shine Nail Lacquers (£14.50) – these are the most amazing, almost matte, metallics. No glitter here – born out of a fusion of refined pearls and aluminum platelets, this new high-impact finish saturates nails in a flash richly pigmented chromatic colour. You will be addicted to these the minute you try them. The Brushed Gold is amazing!

There are also nine Pure Color Instant Intense EyeShadow Trios (£27) – in an amazing liquid-like texture, like molten metal. It practically melts on to the eyelids for amazing chromatic colour.
