Pollen pest! Is Hay Max the answer?

2 min read

So, the rain has given the hayfever sufferers a bit of a break, and we are coming to the end of the grass pollen season in July, but with more hot weather forecast, we can expect more sneezing, wheezing, red eyes and the like. I am lucky – I don’t really suffer at all. A little bit of a sniffle and a sneeze here and there, but nothing more. My partner on the other hand, has it bad. Sneezing, runny nose, red eyes – you name it, he has it.

There are loads of remedies out there from tablets, to sprays to balms and creams. Hay Max is a pollen barrier – you just apply it around the rim of the nostrils as soon as the symptoms start, and it traps the pollen before it enters the body.

Hayfever HayMax

HayMax has been proven to trap over one third of the pollen in the air in independent studies by The National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit  –  enough to effectively reduce the pollen count from high to medium on all but the highest pollen count days.

Hayfever is a reaction to pollen in the body. Each person can tolerate a certain amount, but once this level is exceeded,  an allergic reaction occurs. HayMax works by reducing the amount of pollen getting into the body, keeping the sufferer below their trigger level, and symptom free, for longer – less pollen, less reaction. Hay Max is award-winning, positively reviewed by doctors and health experts, and is drug-free, non-drowsy and therefore suitable for pregnant and breast-feeding mums, as well as children. It comes in three types – natural, lavender and aloe vera

It worked for me, with minimal reaction to pollen anyway, but my other half really didn’t have such luck – he found it didn’t do much, if anything to stop his symptoms, particularly on bad days. He tried it alone, and with his regular spray treatment, but for him, it wasn’t enough. Eeryone is different though, so if you need a treatment, and want a natual one, give it a go. And, I used it when I was clearing out the hall cupboard, and it helped massively with the dust which normally sends me into a sneezing fit!

HayMax is £6.99  for a 5ml pot and is available from Asda, Holland & Brrett, some Tesco stores, Morrisons, Waitrose and Boots, as well as other independent health stores and chemists, and online at www.haymax.biz.
